High School Musical 3: Senior Year - 40 mistakes
At Riley's Garage, when Troy and Chad rummage through the junk looking for the radiator cap, Troy's boxers are light grey, but next shot when he lifts the truck's hood his boxers are black.
At graduation, after Troy is handed the diploma, in the overhead shot the graduates on the left and right stand-up from their seats, then turn and walk towards each other. All their seats simply disappear between shots. Obviously done deliberately for the dance sequence, but a mistake nonetheless.
Zack and Miri Make a Porno - 1 mistake
When Zack is talking to Deacon at the hockey game, there's a water bottle or a similar object between them. It disappears during the rest of the scene, even if the two characters are not seen drinking.
Saw V - 8 mistakes
In the electricity trap, after a brief close up, it snaps to a view of the whole room, you can see the boom mic lifting up and actually see outside of the set.
Throughout the movie, the clocks show incorrect time and at times changes from 8:20 to 18:20 and the countdown clock shows wrong sequencing.
Changeling - 1 mistake
When Angelina is sitting down at the table at the mental asylum, she is sitting across from a heavyset woman. Before she starts talking to the blond woman, the lady across from her takes a drink. Just as she is raising the glass, the scene cuts to another angle and the lady's glass is down on the table again.
Max Payne - 4 mistakes
In the film, Sgt. Jack Lupino is depicted as a United States Marine Corp Sargent. However, when Max is watching an interview with Lupino it shows him wearing either a Gunnery Sargent or Master Sargent chevrons. Not only that, but the chevrons happen to be upside down. No US Marine would ever make a mistake like that.
As the vehicle drives on a street of 'downtown New York', on the right side of the scene as we pass store fronts, one can see the familiar symbol of the American Automobile Association - except it has CAA - Canadian AA. Canadian viewers, especially those from Toronto who recognise the city where this movie was shot, will no doubt smile at this oversight. It's early in the movie - before all the action really starts, I believe before Donal Logue's character is killed.
Eagle Eye - 18 mistakes
The entire movie hinges on something that is an impossibility. One's twin cannot remove a biometric lock from a machine. This might be possible if it only compared DNA, as identical twins have the same DNA. This, however, is where the similarities end, as a hand scan would have been invalid, because of different fingerprints. The facial/retinal scan should have been invalid because the retinas would have been different, as well as their faces, as a result of different environments (i.e., scars, hair, facial hair, etc.). Finally, and the biggest hole, the voice print scanner. Maybe they would have been similar enough for comparison; however, I simply cannot believe they would have been identical.
The timeline of the movie is near the end of January 2009, as seen on cellphones throughout the movie. This would mean a new President would have been inaugurated only days before. Therefore, his address to Congress would not be called the State of the Union Address as this does not officially occur until the 2nd year of the Presidency.
Pride and Glory - 1 mistake
In an early part of the movie, Francis Tierney, Sr. is standing in front of a paper towel dispenser in a restroom with his son, Ray Tierney. The dispenser, which is visible over Francis Tierney's right shoulder, is at first full of paper towels, then empty, then full again. The paper towels are at first sticking out of the bottom of the dispenser, then they vanish.
