Continuity mistake: In the scene when Il Duce approaches the house before he begins shooting at the three, he steps in front of a car without a hubcap. During the battle, you can now see a hubcap on the wheel. (01:17:05)
The Boondock Saints (1999)
Plot summary
Directed by: Troy Duffy
Starring: Willem Dafoe, Billy Connolly, Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus, David Della Rocco
Two Irish twin brothers, Connor and Murphy McManus (Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus, respectively) go on a violent crusade to rid Boston of evildoers. The public applauds them, and even the FBI agent tracking them, Paul Smecker (Willem Dafoe), admits they're doing what he wishes he could do.
Doc: You know what they say: People in glass houses sink sh-sh-ships.
Rocco: Doc, I gotta buy you, like, a proverb book or something. This mix'n'match shit's gotta go.
Doc: What?
Connor: A penny saved is worth two in the bush, isn't it?
Murphy: And don't cross the road if you can't get out of the kitchen.
Trivia: The actor who portrays "Vincenzo Lipazzi" (Yakavetta's right hand man), Ron Jeremy, is actually an adult film actor/producer.
Question: Can anyone remember which of the brothers had "Veritas" tattooed on his hand? It was either the Sean Patrick character or the Norman character, one had veritas and the other libertas, but which was which?

Answer: Sean Patrick Flanery was the one who had veritas tattoed on his index. He's the one playing Connor. The other tattoo is not Libertas but Acquitas.
