Continuity mistake: Antonio Banderas throws his guitar case across the roof, then jumps after it and opens it. From the reverse angle the fake guitar inside is still in place, we then switch to it from from the front and it's instantly raised, with the guns visible instead.
Continuity mistake: When El Mariachi breaks the guy's neck at the bar he stands up and his knee caps are full of white dust, then he finishes writing a note to Bucho his knee caps are clean.
El Mariachi: Carolina, did I thank you?
Carolina: No.

Trivia: The American girl who is criticising the service in the Tarasco Bar (just before Quentin Tarantino walks in) is actually Robert Rodriguez's sister.
