Bulletproof Monk (2003)

Corrected entry: When Kar and Jade are driving to rescue the Monk, you can see that the car is not moving when the camera shows the driver's side window and nothing is moving past them as they are talking. (01:18:00)

MCKD

Correction: Given that it's dark outside, there wasn't anything to see, especially the way the lighting is set up. But we do see the lights and shadows pass by though indicating movement (most noticeably the red light passing by on the passenger side).

Bulletproof Monk (2003)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Sean William Scott finds his landlord dead, whenever there is a shot of the dead body you can see him breathing. (00:58:37)

Correction: After closely watching this scene, I never see any breathing or movement. Since it was raining, there is the reflection of the rain on all 3 of the people which might have made you think there was breathing.

Bulletproof Monk (2003)

Corrected entry: When the bad guys are chasing the Monk and Kar across the street, you see a BMW almost hit them and it stops in the street. The camera angle changes - the bad guys are crossing the street, the BMW is now gone, and a different car almost hits them in the same place the BMW almost hit the Monk and Kar. (00:40:04)

MCKD

Correction: The BMW that almost hits the Monk drives off (just like the Cadillac does). We actually see the 2nd car that almost hits the bad guys making the right hand turn on to the street as the BMW swerves to miss the Monk.

Varsity Blues (1999)

Corrected entry: Right after Lance gets hurt the 2 announcers in the booth seem to have ESP or either that they have some medical degree that nobody knows about because despite the fact that the injury just happened and nobody knows how serious the injury is they already know that the injury is severe enough that Lance's "ride" to Florida state is over.

Correction: They could have also known that any type of injury would make Florida State decide against giving a full ride scholarship to a player, despite knowing the severity of it. Injury prone players are usually a major a concern for top teams.

Varsity Blues (1999)

Corrected entry: When Tweeder blocks the punt they immediately start celebrating. The problem is a blocked punt is still live until recovered by one team or the other. They just skipped that part. (01:35:25)

Joel Gordon

Correction: They did skip that part, just like they skipped a lot of the football game. Even if the offense recovered the ball, unless they got to the first down marker it would still be a turn over. The film makers just chose to skip it and let the audience know there was a change of possession.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: After Batman hits Joker with a net and pins him to the ground, he gets out of his jet and hops down. There is a chicken leg next to the jet from Joker's previous attack. But when Batman is getting back in while Superman and Robin are talking, the chicken leg has disappeared. (00:13:45)

Quantom X

Correction: The shot isn't continuous in any way. By the time Superman comes, the police have already arrived, taken Joker, and left. Plenty of time to pick up objects that belonged to the Joker.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: After being released from Grimhold, Morgana is ready to cast "The Rising" spell. She never actually learned it, or even saw the parchment with the spell, since it was Horvath who took it, then left. Afterwards, Morgana is quickly trapped in Grimhold - it means she doesn't know how to cast this spell, which she actually does like a sorceress supreme.

cagi

Correction: The only thing Morgana says to Horvath is "get the spell". However, the narrator says "and so it was, Morgana gained sorcery's most powerful spell." It's clear she knows the spell.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: It is assumed that Horvath uses the same mirror spell during the car chase that Balthazar used in the bathroom. If that's the case, wouldn't Horvath have been able to bring himself out of the mirror by entering his own reflection as Balthazar and David did in the car? (00:56:00 - 01:14:00)

Correction: Which is probably exactly how he got out. If the other side of the bathroom mirror didn't show a reflection, he needed to find a mirror/reflection to get out. All we saw was Horvath tell the kid to wake up his assistant, nothing about needing a spell to be let out.

The Room (2003)

Corrected entry: Chris R holds a gun on Denny to try to get drug money he owed him. However, after Johnny and Mark take Chris R away, Claudette and Denny talk about it like Chris R owed Denny the money, like "Were you giving them to him? Selling them to him?" or "This is no way to make money."

MikeH

Correction: Denny says over and over he owed Chris R money. It was just Claudette who was trying to understand the situation because Denny says he bought drugs off the guy but that he doesn't have the drugs any more. So she wants to know what Denny did with the drugs, she knows it's not Chris R who owes Denny money.

Corky Romano (2001)

Corrected entry: When the girl agent points her gun at Corky, first it is in her right hand, and when the screen switches, it's in her left hand, but in the next shot, it's in her right hand.

Correction: We see it in her right hand the whole time. When the shot changes we see Corky holding his gun in his left hand pointed at Leo, But Kate's remains in her right hand.

Corky Romano (2001)

Corrected entry: When the "funky" gun Corky was hold went of, and the tank exploded, you see the dog flying. When Corky sees the dog, it is lying down, its head facing one way, then when he runs over to the dog, it is facing the other way. Then, after he gives it "air", it gets up, and it is facing the same way it was facing when Corky first saw it.

Correction: When we see the dog on his back, his head is tilted to its right, the next shot, the head is still tilted to the right, albeit the camera angle has changed position. In the final shot, while the dog's head is to the left, this is also after Corky gave it mouth to mouth and moved his head.

Corky Romano (2001)

Corrected entry: When the cocaine was all over Corky's face, when he runs into the FBI director and he asks him to go to the 2nd graders, all the cocaine is off his face, clothes, and hair.

Correction: After getting cocaine all over himself, when he goes through the building entrance, you see he made an effort to wipe it off (plenty of time passes between scenes for him to do this). The next shot he's already heading towards the evidence room (without the audience having to see the tediousness of Corky walking and taking the stairs/elevator), so he had plenty of time to clean himself off.

Corky Romano (2001)

Corrected entry: When Corky is leaving with Kate the female agent and waves goodbye to his brothers, they are wondering where he is going. Now since he was wearing a wire, wouldn't they already know?

Correction: Even though he's wearing a wire, neither brother is seen wearing the headphones which is the only way they would hear it at the time. And even if Paulie was listening, then Peter (who asks the question) wouldn't have heard.

Corky Romano (2001)

Corrected entry: In one of the scenes when Corky and his brothers are in their dad's room, Peter (the fat brother) has on a blue shirt. The camera cuts to Corky or someone else, and his shirt has changed colors to green.

Correction: There is no scene where Peter's shirt changes color. If you're talking about the first time they're all in Pop's room, you see the same blue shirt, even later on in other scenes. It could be the lighting made you think it was green.

Dante's Peak (1997)

Corrected entry: When Harry, Rachel, her children and Grandma are escaping from Grandma's cabin, the volcanic lava breaks through the wall and everyone runs out the door, but there is no way they could possibly outrun the lava, since it's flowing quite rapidly.

Heather Benton

Correction: The front flow of lava moves very slow, the fastest recorded was 6 miles an hour. It's lava that's in already established flow channels that moves rapidly.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: Before the steamroller crashes into the billboard, you can see that the game is tied and the red team won for no reason. Also the visiting team's score is above the home team's score, not below it like a real baseball scoreboard.

Correction: First, while the scoreboard does show a tie game (3 to 3), there's no score posted for the bottom of the 9th inning for the home team (which is the red team). Second, earlier in the scene we saw a player for the red team safely slide into home plate, which is when and how the red team won. The kid in charge of the manual scoreboard simply didn't bother to add a "1" to the bottom of the 9th spot or change the score from "3" to "4". The red team player scored what is called a "walk off run", meaning the game is over right then. And finally, the home team score is always on the bottom (with the visitor score being on top), as is correctly done so in the film. The home team always bats in the bottom of the innings.

Total Recall (1990)

Corrected entry: After Quaid and Melina escape from Cohaagen's scientists they retreat to the Pyramid Mines in order to locate the reactor. They come upon a dead end only to find Benny lying in wait inside a tunneling machine in order to kill them. Benny had no way of knowing they would be over there - Cohaagen and Richter didn't even know they had escaped the scientists yet - so there was no logical reason for Benny to have been waiting there for them. (01:32:25 - 01:33:25)

Phaneron

Correction: Benny (and Richter) was in the room when Kuato told Quaid to start the reactor, so he knew exactly what Quaid's plans were. He was probably ordered there to make sure Quaid (or his associates) didn't try to get to the reactor. It just so happened to be Quaid and Melina who went to the reactor, but Benny would be waiting for anyone.

Beetlejuice (1988)

Corrected entry: The opening credits are supposed to be the camera panning over Adam's model of the town, but if you look carefully you can tell that the majority of the footage is of an actual town and the only real shot of the model is shortly before we see the replica of Adam and Barbara's house. After production designer Bo Welch's name appears on screen, you can see a dissolve edit and the trees suddenly look artificial and the street is suddenly missing the yellow lane divider, with the integrity of the asphalt being noticeably different.

Phaneron

Correction: That is not what it's supposed to be. It was suppose to be exactly what it is, a transition from a shot of the real town to the model so that its established the model of the town is in fact a real town and also that there is a model of the town. It's a cinematic way of telling a story without a wordy exposition.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: In the scene where Horvath tracks the Grimhold and kills the man in the car he mentions Chinatown. How would he know of the existence of Chinatown and refer to it by its common name after being trapped in the grimhold and urn for a thousand years? (00:29:50)

Correction: First off, Horvath used magic to see into the past to see who took the Grimhold. If he can do that, it's possible his magic lets him know where the man lived. Second, Horvath found David's apartment shortly after being released from the urn, so given that, he could have time to learn about Chinatown and figured the Chinese man who took the Grimhold lived there. And third, no timeline is given for when Horvath was locked in the Grimhold and given that Sun Lok was only in the Grimhold for 200 years, Horvath could have known about Chinatown when he was alive.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: During the entry into the room with the nine-headed snake, when the tablet becomes more eroded and the artifacts start to become affected; Theodore Roosevelt begins repeating "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself." It is as though he's gone back to being an artifact and is repeating phrases and quotes for viewers. This quote is however by Franklin Delano Roosevelt in his 1932 first inauguration speech. (01:05:00)

sharlotta

Correction: The corroded tablet is affecting the artifacts negatively. Teddy also says "ask not what you can do for your country" (JFK) and "I am not a crook" (Nixon). He's simply repeating famous sayings from other presidents, not reverting back to his original artifact form (which is also why Attila became cowardly).
