The IT Crowd (2006)

Correction: They were not motionless, we see the guy with his back turn move a bit. Plus, the one with the eyepatch speaks. But it's not unreasonable to think the guy would turn around after being recognized, and there was plenty of time for him to turn around while off camera.

Correction: This is just a plain lie and started as an Internet rumor. The story behind the rumor was Spongebob Square Pants was originally going to air on Adult Swim. However, Spongebob debuted on Nickelodeon in 1999 and Adult Swim wasn't even created until 2001. Additionally, creator Stephen Hillenburg already worked with Nickelodeon on a previous children's show and always wanted to continue working with Nickelodeon.

Community (2009)

Correction: On the break a striped ("bigs") ball goes in, however we see Jeff shoot solids throughout the rest of the game. It is the coach who is shooting the striped balls, not Jeff.

Volunteers (1985)

Corrected entry: When Tom Hanks is rescuing Rita Wilson from the bad guys, she is in a pink dress and pink high heeled shoes. When he picks her up and puts her over his shoulder, she is barefoot. Camera cuts to a new angle and her shoes are back on. Camera cuts again and her shoes are missing. Shoes keep appearing and disappearing until they exit the scene. (01:22:35)

Correction: Rita Wilson just has one high heel on her right foot when rescued. Before she's picked up, we see Tim Thomerson come in and her left foot is bare. When Tom Hanks picks her up, her left foot is still bare and her right foot still had the shoe on, and it's this way the whole time she's being carried.

Grand Theft Auto V

Corrected entry: Mr. Phillips: When Trevor, Ron and Wade are chasing down the van and the two bikers in Trevor's truck, Trevor will at one point say, "We can't fuck with the van, but we can drop those bikers." However, if the two bikers are killed before Trevor even says the line, Trevor will still stay "We can't fuck with the van, but we can drop those bikers", despite the bikers already being dead. Trevor can still say this line even with only one of the bikers dead, and it still would make no sense because he says "bikers" in the line, referring to two people.

Casual Person

Correction: In all 3 situation, the phrase "we can drop those bikers" makes sense. Either in the future sense where they have the option and ability is to kill the bikers. This is like saying "the road to the right is blocked, but 'we can' go left." Or in the past tense where "we can" is used in slang to indicate they were able to kill the bikers. This would be like saying of a baseball player "he's not fast, but 'he can' hit!" If only one biker is killed, "we can" would mean the outcome of killing a biker was uncertain, but then confirmed, so they can proceed to kill the bikers.

Mallrats (1995)

Correction: He calls him "Bruce". He's just addressing him by his last name.

Bishop73

Correction: While Hillenburg did draw a similar character he gave the name Spongeboy to, it was never considered for use in the show and not relevant trivia. There already existed a product using the name Spongeboy.

Bishop73

But it was still the original idea for the show.

No, it was two separate ideas.

Corrected entry: When the judge's robes catch on fire, Brad throws the wine to put the fire out. He uses a wine glass. But at the end of the scene when the judge storms off, Brad is now holding a martini glass with no time to switch it. (00:07:15)

Correction: It's the same wine glass. At the end the glass is tilted toward the camera so the flared side of the glass could be confused for a wide brim, but it's not.

Sabotage (2014)

Corrected entry: If the team blows up the rest of the money, how did anyone know that $10,000,000 was missing?

Correction: They made this clear in the beginning; the FBI was carrying on a parallel investigation and they knew $200 million was suppose to be there. There seemed to be missing money, making it look like a setup. The whole point of the 6-month investigation was to determine if there was a setup.

Correction: Lilly did arrive in the morning. Then there was the whole thing with Ted and Marshall. Then it's night with Ted cooking dinner for his fiancé and Robin doing the news. Lilly is then back at Barney's apartment to help him with Robin at 7:47pm, both are even wearing different clothes.

Marco Polo - S5-E8

Corrected entry: At the party, Carmella tells Tony B. to film the food tables before they get pillaged. She calls him Stevie, his real name.

Correction: She uses his initials. She said "Tony B, make sure you shoot the food table."

Over the Hedge (2006)

Corrected entry: When Hammy has drunk the drink with extra caffeine, time seems to stop, and he places a gnome right under the Exterminator's foot. But when time resumes again, the Exterminator's foot is on the ground and the gnome is a couple of feet behind him.

Correction: This is because Hammy does not put it directly under his foot. In fact, you can see the laser beam and the gnome is on the other side of the beam from Dwayne's foot in a couple of shots and the gnome stays behind that line when his foot comes down.

Sons of Anarchy (2008)

The Mad King - S6-E5

Corrected entry: At the end of this episode, Tara is in bed with Abel and Thomas. Abel starts crying and Tara leaves the room with Thomas. The subtitle says "Thomas crying."

Correction: Abel is not the one who is crying. Abel was trying to sleep, although we do see him rub his face. It was in fact Thomas, the baby, crying. This is why Tara leaves the room in the first place, so Thomas's crying doesn't wake up Abel. We know it's Thomas crying because he cries at the very end too, when outside, and it's the same crying we heard earlier, with the subtitle "Thomas crying" once again.

Black Widower - S7-E1

Corrected entry: When Jax is driving him and Gemma back from the county jail, Jax holds Gemma's hand in the car. The position of the transmission shifter is in the forward position - 'Park', showing the car is on a trailer for filming. (00:20:10)

Correction: There is no way to tell the shifter is in 'Park' since only the top part is seen/showing. This is just a guess. Although, from the looks of the top of the shifter, being aligned with the steering wheel and not further over to the right, it looks to be in 'Drive'.

Student Bodies (1981)

Corrected entry: Barring Joe Flood (Mr Dumpkin), Oscar James (the football coach), Mimi Wedell (Miss Mumsley) and Cullen Chambers (Charles) none of the other actors in Student Bodies (most notably the lead actress Kristen Ritter) acted in another film.

swordfish

Correction: While a majority of the cast did not act in other films, 9 of the actors (not including the 4 you mentioned) did act in at least one other film afterwards. Additionally, 1 other actor was in a film prior and 1 other actor has been in a couple shorts since.

Slaughter High (1986)

Corrected entry: This film was the only film most of the cast acted in, with the exception of Marc Smith (The Coach) who did a lot of other films.

swordfish

Correction: This is completely false. Of the 14 credited actors (Mark Ezra was uncredited and would make 15), 13 have acted in at least 1 other movie. Additionally, 6 of the stars have extensive film and TV credits, including Munro, who played Carol, and Martin, who played Joe.

Bishop73

Correction: While the food is gone in the next shot, the shot isn't meant to be continuous. After he walks through the fridge he's in a completely different room about to step into his pants. He had plenty of time to shake the food off, or for it to fall off, between shots.

Monster House (2006)

Corrected entry: Near the end where Neburcracker hands DJ the dynamite, he doesn't hand him a match. A few shots later DJ has a match in his hand.

richard dryja

Correction: As you say, a few shots later he has the match. We see when he pulls the dynamite out that he had it tucked away in his sling. He could have kept the matches there as well and had plenty of time between shots to grab one. We even see when he falls several matches fall to the ground, so he definitely had plenty of matches on him in easy access.

Monster House (2006)

Corrected entry: In the last scene, we see DJ and Chowder running off to go trick-or-treating. As the camera view zooms out, we see a column of smoke rising up from the ruins of Nebbercracker's house. A logical explanation for this would be the chimney of Nebbercracker's house. However, the house has been blown to smitherines in the previous few scenes.

Correction: The smoke is never rising out from a chimney, but the hole in the ground. We see the smoke rising after the house is destroyed in the empty lot, and the smoke is still rising when the neighborhood kids are getting their toys back.
